Publications hop aboard🥕

June 2024

We are extremely chuffed that two of the largest, iconic British publications, have agreed to hop aboard PressHop. They LOVE what we are building and are very impressed with the solutions we are offering them as a business🤩

 

As we do not charge any SAAS, or trading fees, or commission from the Media houses for the content they buy or the tasks they broadcast, this model helps us eradicate any potential roadblocks in signing up most of the national and international publications in London

...and PressHop is here 🐰

While we liked Presso as a brand, our marketing partners suggested a potential risk of users confusing us with the Pizza chain, Prezzo🍕

 

We then conducted a targeted market research amongst friends, partners & associates, and finally chose PressHop as our new brand name. We think the brand works well on both the Press & User front.

 

For the Media houses, we are building a marketplace, and our brand reads Press Shop where the press can go online, and then acquire the content they want to buy.

On the other hand, our users can connect with the brand PressHop, where they can discreetly sell content they see around themselves in their every day lives, and can hop around and accept tasks that publications broadcast for them (quite similar to Uber and other gig-economy apps).

 

Our tagline, News Delivered remains unchanged since delivering user-generated news, remains at the heart of what we do❤️

Product development has started 🚀

December 2022

After speaking to a few investors, we realised that while the investors loved our business model, and the solution we were offering to the US $ 1.7 Trillion Media & News industry, the absence of a product made it challenging for them to pursue the discussions further. We heard you! In June 2022, we decided to postpone our fundraising and invested all our time and money to start developing the MVP.

 

After a lot of research, we finally decided to get our product developed in India. As we write to you, the App (on both iOS and Android) and our web-enabled marketplace for the Media houses, are getting developed by a team of super-intelligent and experienced developers who are committed to deliver a mind-blowing product
